Dependent Child Age 26 and Older
Health coverage for eligible dependent children can be continued until the end of the year in which they turn age 26 if they have had coverage for at least five months in that year and remain dependent on you for financial support.

You may cover your dependent children who are incapable of self-support upon reaching age 26 because of mental or physical disability, as long as they are covered under the plan before age 26 or, if later, when first eligible. This coverage may continue as long as the disability continues and is due to mental or physical disability. Proof of disability must be received by the Benefits Choice Center for review and approval within 30 days after coverage would otherwise end.
