Birth and Adoption of a Child

Contact the HR Service at 1-866myTHDHR (1-866-698-4347) and the Benefits Choice Center at 1-800-555-4954 to provide your updated information and to discuss any additional action needed. You must update your information within 30 days of the birth/adoption.

While preparing to adopt a child:

CARE/Solutions For Life provides free counseling, education, resources and referrals to people who are planning to adopt
Home Depot offers an adoption reimbursement program to eligible associates. To request more information and a reimbursement application, log onto livetheorangelife.com and click on the Health Insurance & Wellness Tab. Then click on Take Action > Request Materials. Check the Adoption Reimbursement Application box and click the Request Materials button at the bottom of the page. You may also call the Benefits Choice Center at 1-800-555-4964 to request these materials.
